Frequently Asked Questions

Both! The best way to determine whether or not you are ready for a project or retainer fee will depend on your budget and your timeline to achieve your objectives.

A project fee is set for public relations and marketing campaigns that have a specific objective and end date. Together, we establish goals and I provide strategy, tactics, and implementation to meet that objective.
A retainer fee allows me to manage all aspects of current public relations and marketing for your brand including, but not limited to, brand partnerships, crisis communication, social media management, activations, media relations, and reputation management.

I enjoy working with a variety of clients. I’ve provided expertise for clients in oil and gas, law, space administration, food and beverage, hospitality, talent acquisition, entertainment, luxury goods, healthcare, fine arts, leadership, and public affairs.

If you are planning to promote a specific product or service with a determined launch date, you should be in touch at least six months before the launch. To be most effective, public relations and marketing campaigns take time to plan.
If you are looking for someone to partner with your communications team for media relations or manage all public relations and marketing efforts for your brand on retainer fee, service can begin immediately.

We begin with a campaign kick-off where we establish the goals needed to reach the objective. Depending on your budget, I will create a strategic plan implementing tactics from paid, earned, shared, and owned media. A targeted media list using traditional and digital media will be created for you to maximize reach, engagement, and influence. I will pitch journalists, bloggers, and influencers to share your story. I manage all communication with the media providing them your press release, press kit, photos, videos, fact sheets, and contact information. I provide media training and support for interviews with talking points. The campaign concludes with a report evaluating and measuring public relations and marketing efforts for return on investment and future re-investment.

No, I cannot. Truthfully, no publicist can guarantee media placements. If you want guaranteed exposure, we can explore options provided by paid media.

For project fees, clients are expected to pay 50% of their project fee at the beginning of the campaign and the remaining 50% upon completion of the campaign. An authorization agreement must be signed and an invoice will be provided for payment. This project fee does not include the costs for newswire distribution, desksides, ads on social media, influencer fees, speaker honorariums, or print materials. If you would like to build an integrated marketing and public relations campaign you will need an advertising budget in addition to payment for the project fee.
For retainer fees, payment must be paid in full to begin service.
Payment is accepted with check and ACH.
